We live in a time when magic is more necessary than ever. More so than the magic itself, we need a dapper-looking, happy-go-lucky woman like Mary Poppins to come flying in on an umbrella to deliver it to us. Emily Blunt will fill that role in MARY POPPINS RETURNS and you can get your first full look at her on the cover of the new Entertainment Weekly. Of course, you can skip buying a copy and just look below!
We’ve seen some images of her before, but now she’s here in bright, shining HD. Needless to say she look perfect as the magical caregiver, and I can already see her riding in to bring the world a little cheer. It's a good thing too, because the movie is set for next Christmas, and I don't think Santa is up to snuff anymore. Alongside her will be Lin-Manuel Miranda as Jack, Colin Firth as William Wilkins, Ben Whishaw as Michael Banks, Meryl Streep as Topsy and Dick Van Dyke as Mr. Dawes Jr.
MARY POPPINS returns on December 25, 2018.
