Get a closer look at the damn, dirty apes with this hi-res Rise of the Planet of the Apes concept art

In the WETA livestream the other day promoting the FX wizardry behind RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, there were some brief flashes of some concept art from the film. If that went by too quickly for your tastes we’ve got hi-res looks at all eight pieces of art from the film. Or perhaps I should say from the last 20 minutes of the movie.

All the art you see here is from the end of the movie when Caesar has riled up the troops and the simians begin to takeover the world, one San Francisco at a time. One of the film’s big set pieces is an attack on the Golden Gate Bridge (as you glimpsed in the trailer as a gorilla launched himself at a helicopter) and you’ll see some art from that scene here.
