George Mendeluk’s Infected plans on keeping its victim trapped

There’s a flick out there currently named INFECTED that shares some similarities with QUARANTINE. Actually, INFECTED may not be a trusted title as it’s also being called THE TERROR EXPERIMENT and FIGHT OR FLIGHT. Don’t get this mixed up with another film that is also titled INFECTED. That particular film stars Michael Madsen. The QUARANTINE-like film might not feel original in that sense but it does sound cool anyway. 

Whatever the title ends up being, INFECTED promises chills, scares and recycled horror concepts. The film just completed post-production and is looking to start marketing the film for a possible 2011 release. So what’s the skinny on the horror flick? 

When a virus is released in the Federal Building, causing employees to instantly become aggressive and bloodthirsty, a group of the uninfected must band together and fight to get out with their lives.

As much as it sounds like “one of those films”, I can’t help but watch it anyway because that’s what we do. We watch horror films. The film stars C. Thomas Howell, Judd Nelson, Jason London, Robert Carradine, and Lochlyn Monroe. George Mendeluk directs. D. Todd Deeken is the acting scribe while Henry Boger produces. The film is being distributed by Vision Films, INC.
