Coming four years after the release of THE BOY, which was apparently a surprising success, is BRAHMS: THE BOY II, a sequel which finds a new family moving into a guest house on the Hellshire Mansion estate, completely unaware of its terrifying history. Soon after, their young son makes an unsettling new friend, an eerily life-like doll he calls Brahms. I can't speak for everyone, but dolls are f**king horrifying, so this one will likely hit a nerve with me, no matter how scary is actually is. BRAHMS: THE BOY II stars Christopher Convery (Gotham), Katie Holmes (LOGAN LUCKY), Owain Yeoman (THE BELKO EXPERIMENT), and Ralph Ineson (THE WITCH).
In case you need a refresher on the previous film, it starred Lauren Cohan (The Walking Dead) as Greta, a young American woman who took a job as a nanny in a remote English village only to discover that the couple's 8-year-old son is actually a life-sized doll that the parents treat as a real child in an attempt to cope with the death of their actual son decades prior. Yeesh. After violating a list of strict rules, a series of disturbing and inexplicable events bring Greta's worst nightmare to life, leading her to believe that the doll is actually alive.
BRAHMS: THE BOY II will hit theaters on February 21st.
