Gun Media and IllFonic, the folks behind Friday the 13th: The Game, have announced a new DLC pack for the game, one which will turn it into a bloody beach party – the Spring Break 1984 swimsuit clothing pack.
It’s Spring Break at Camp Crystal Lake, and the counselors have decided to break out their trunks and bikinis!
The clothing pack is priced at $3.99, although it will be available at 50% off for a limited time. A release date hasn't been revealed, but the F13Game website says the pack will be available "SOON".
Whether or not you're excited about getting the chance to put The Game's characters in swimsuits, the announcement of the DLC has come with something I think all fans could agree is cool: a trailer that shows the counselors' Spring Break party getting interrupted by the arrival of our beloved slasher Jason Voorhees.
Four-time Jason Kane Hodder performed the motion capture performance for the character in the game, which was made with the blessing of Sean S. Cunningham, director of the original FRIDAY THE 13TH. Series composer Harry Manfredini did the score, special effects artist Tom Savini designed some of the kills, and JASON LIVES: FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VI writer/director Tom McLoughlin wrote "The Pamela Tapes", audio recordings that can be collected within the game. JASON LIVES star Thom Mathews reprises the role of hero Tommy Jarvis in the game, with Kristina Klebe as one of the counselors and Jen Burton providing the voice of Pamela Voorhees.
The online multiplayer version of Friday the 13th: The Game can be played right now. A physical edition is set to be released on October 13th.
