Four new teaser posters arrive for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

The Michael Bay-produced TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES are fighting their way back to the big screen this summer and today we have four new teaser posters for the film, which highlight the four main turtles and their corresponding weaponry. After the first trailer debut, the divisive adaptation seemed to continue the split between anger and excitement with fans, but piquing interest nonetheless. The posters are cool, if not expected, and should serve to continue the discussion over the reboot.

Take a peek:

Here's the synopsis:

From their home in the storm sewers of Manhattan, four Ninjitsu-trained turtles, Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello and their sensei, Master Splinter, battle evil.

As a big fan of TMNT, I'm looking forward to the new film, but with some reservations. Like many of you, I've heard some rumors about the storyline that have left me questioning its integrity, but I'm willing to go in with an open mind. Everyone has thier own particular gripes, be it costumes, the inclusion of noses, Megan Fox as April, and, of course, the name Michael Bay tossed in there, but I'm ready to judge for myself with the final product whether or not this is a dud. I'm hopeful, more than anything, and would love to see a new franchise in full swing if it makes the grade.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, directed by Jonathan Liebesman, hits theaters on August 8, 2014.
