Alright, I’ll be the first to say it – Ken Foree is a horror whore! But I mean it in a good way. I mean, you could be putting together a $45 horror film that you will be shooting with a VHS camcorder and cardboard used for costumes and ask Foree if he’s interested in working on the film and I bet he would say yes. This is the part of the article where I would mention the film’s Foree has worked on but that would just be pointless, as just about anyone who visits this site knows him from a variety of films…including the Romero zombie classic DAWN OF THE DEAD
It appears that Foree is set to lend his talents to the film titled WITTENBERG, a film with a sick premise that goes a little something like this: a reality tv show producer comes up with an idea for a show where sane people are taken to an insane asylum and treated as if they are insane. The point of the show is to demonstrate whether or not the sane people will eventually turn insane. But of course this isn’t your typical insane asylum, this hospital is run by Dr. Dorian (no, not Zach Braff from “Scrubs”), a sinister doctor with a blood lust. So of course things go wrong.
And no, I do not know who Foree will be playing but we can all cross our fingers that it will be that damn sinister doctor. But what I do know is that the film marks the directorial debut of Sid Haig.
