Force of Nature trailer pits Mel Gibson against crooks during a hurricane

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Can I offer you a nice Mel Gibson taking on thieves during a hurricane movie in this trying time? Lionsgate has dropped the first trailer for FORCE OF NATURE, an action thriller which stars Kate Bosworth (The I-Land), Emile Hirsch (ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD), and Mel Gibson (DRAGGED ACROSS CONCRETE). When a category 5 hurricane forces many to leave their homes, Dr. Troy (Bosworth) requests the help of officer Cardillo (Hirsch) with convincing her father (Gibson) to leave their apartment. Being the bad-ass that he is, Gibson naturally assumes that he's a match for anything the hurricane has to offer, but things take an even deadlier turn when a group of heavily armed thieves swarm the apartment complex in search of $55 million.

In addition to Kate Bosworth, Emile Hirsch, and Mel Gibson, FORCE OF NATURE also stars David Zayas, Stephanie Cayo, Will Catlett, Swen Temmel, Tyler Jon Olson and Jorge Luis Ramos. While FORCE OF NATURE may not look like it will go down as the best film Mel Gibson has ever done, he certainly seems to be having a bit of fun in the trailer and I'm always down for a lil' grizzled Gibson action.

FORCE OF NATURE will debut on Digital and On Demand on June 30, 2020, and will also be available on DVD/Blu-ray the same day.
