Five new colorful posters for Sin City: A Dame To Kill For

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

I love me some SIN CITY. When we finally got a look at the trailer for SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR it was great seeing the consistency in visual style and tone despite some new cast-members and several years between the first and the sequel. But, when it comes to Robert Rodriguez, you knew he wasn’t going to do SIN CITY wrong.

Five new character posters have made their way online and, suprisingly, they deviate from the stark black and white we have seen in previous SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR teaser posters by showcasing a little color. While it may only be flesh-tones, these posters still manage to evoke the neo-noir world of Frank Miller‘s comic book.

Take a look at new glimpses of Jessica Alba as Nancy, Josh Brolin (replacing Clive Owen) as Dwight, Rosario Dawson (looking somehow sexier than ever) as Gail, Mickey Rourke slipping back into his role as Marv, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as unlucky gambler Johnny.

These images just further go to show how Rodriguez’s use of CGI was almost designed for a project like the SIN CITY films. These movies do not exist in a real world but in a comic book come to life. I cannot wait to see what else is in store for us.

SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR opens in theaters on August 22, 2014.
