First TV spot for R.I.P.D. rises from the grave

The first TV spot for R.I.P.D. has shown up, and it’s a nice dose of the horror-comedy, which opens this July. It runs :60, so there’s lots to enjoy, provided you’re buying what the movie is selling…

Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds headline the 3D supernatural action-adventure R.I.P.D. as two cops dispatched by the otherworldly Rest In Peace Department to protect and serve the living from an increasingly destructive array of souls who refuse to move peacefully to the other side.

Kevin Bacon, Mary-Louise Parker, Stephanie Szostak, Robert Knepper, James Hong, Marisa Miller and Mike O’Malley also star in the Robert Schwentke-directed film, which opens on July 19th.
