First trailer for REC 4: Apocalypse is here to infect you all

We've been chomping at the bit to see more from Jaume Balaguero's upcoming REC 4: APOCALYPSE after getting some glimpses of the fourth and final installment of the successful REC franchise with some early clips, some behind-the-scenes pics, and some set videos, and today our patience has paid off as we have landed the first trailer for REC 4 to share with you.

Balaguero’s REC 4: APOCALYPSE will premiere at the Sitges Film Festival October 3, with a theatrical release reportedly coming our way on October 31 as the film ends one of the most successful horror franchises in international cinema.

Angela Vidal (Manueala Velasco), the young television reporter who first entered the building with the firemen, manages to make it out alive. But what the soldiers don't know is that she carries the seed of the strange infection. She is to be taken to a provisional quarantine facility, a high-security installation where she will have to stay in isolation for several days. An old oil tanker, miles off shore and surrounded by water on all sides, has been especially equipped for the quarantine.

It opens in theaters on October 31.
