As I said previously in an article about the first poster, Quentin Tarantino's ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD is one of the most anticipated movies of the summer, and now we officially have our look at the first trailer. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and so many others the trailer offers a glimpse at Tarantino’s recreation of 1969 Hollywood and teases a story that encompasses everything about the time period that changed the landscape of the industry forever.

It's hard to glean from the trailer what the movie is actually about if anything at all specifically, but on the surface, it looks like an incredibly fun and well-acted take on 1969 Hollywood by Mr. Tarantino. There's the dynamic between DiCaprio and Pitt, which looks like this year's team-up to end all team-ups (sorry, Avengers), Margot Robbie looking especially groovy as Sharon Tate, and all the dialogue flourishes one can expect from a Tarantino movie. Really, what more could you ask for?
As for the story, though, Tarantino did say last year that one movie was probably his closest ever to PULP FICTION in terms of style. Whatever trailer comes next (do we even need a second?) will probably feature more of the star-studded cast and tease some of the other stories that will come into play throughout the movie, which I predict, will be four and half hours long.
Along with the aforementioned three, the movie stars Dakota Fanning, Al Pacino, Scoot McNairy, Luke Perry, Lena Dunham, Damian Lewis, Emile Hirsch, Maya Hawke, Bruce Dern, Clifton Collins Jr., Rumer Willis, Zoe Bell, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Kurt Russell, Timothy Olyphant, James Marsden and, surprisingly, more.
ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD is in theaters July 26.
