Paramount has released the first trailer for Michael Bay's latest film, 13 HOURS: THE SECRET SOLDIERS OF BENGHAZI, a true story which recounts the attack on the U.S. Special Mission Compound and a nearby CIA Annex in Benghazi on the 11th anniversary of Sept. 11; after which a team of six American security operators attempted to repel the attackers and save as many lives as they could.

There are definitely more than a few Bay-isim's on display here, but the trailer does give hope that Michael Bay is finally tackling a story with a more mature and serious tone than he usually does; lets just hope he does the real-life event and characters justice. Chuck Hogan penned the script for the film based upon "13 Hours: The Inside Account Of What Really Happened In Benghazi" by Mitchell Zuckoff. 13 HOURS: THE SECRET SOLDIERS OF BENGHAZI stars James Badge Dale, John Krasinski, Toby Stephens, Pablo Schreiber, Max Martini, David Denman, Dominic Fumusa, and Freddie Stroma.
13 HOURS: THE SECRET SOLDIERS OF BENGHAZI opens on January 15, 2016.
