First trailer for Irish thriller Darkness on the Edge of Town

I keep wanting to type DARKNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOMORROW, but this doesn’t have Tom Cruise killing aliens over and over again. No, DARKNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOWN is more of the murder mystery variety, and as far as I can tell there are no aliens and certainly no Tom Cruises. The Patrick Ryan-directed thriller just came off of its U.S. premiere at the Park City-set Slamdance Film Festival, and we now have its first trailer. This one looks great, guys. Check it out below.

DARKNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOWN Tells the story of…

…Cleo Callahan (Emma Eliza Regan), a teenage sharpshooter who decides to avenge the death of her estranged elder sister after she is found murdered in a public bathroom. Unbeknown to Cleo, her best and only friend Robin O’Riley (Emma Willis) is the murderer she’s sworn to kill.

The film stars Emma Eliza Regan, Brian Gleeson, Maura Foley, Emma Willis, and Sam Monaghan.
