The first trailer for DOM HEMINGWAY, the new crime comedy from director Richard Shepard (THE MATADOR) has arrived, bringing us a surly, grizzled, and menacingly funny Jude Law in the titular role, along with a diversely cool supporting cast, including Richard E. Grant, Demian Bichir, Emilia Clarke (Daenerys in HBO's Game of Thrones), Madalina Diana Ghenea, and Kerry Condon. The proceedings look like a really fun, rough time, keeping perfectly in sync with Shepard's previous efforts.

Here's the synopsis:
After spending 12 years in prison for keeping his mouth shut, notorious safe-cracker Dom Hemingway is back on the streets of London looking to collect what he's owed.
The film recently premiered at TIFF to some pretty damn good reviews, including our own from Bumbray (read here!) and the trailer seems to mirror those sentiments. Law may not have become the debonair leading man that everyone thought he would when he kicked off his career, but I think he's become something much better than that. For the trajectory he's had thus far, DOM HEMINGWAY feels like a perfect fit for the actor and I'm glad to see him embracing his stature as a "tougher" actor rather than a "pretty" one.
DOM HEMINGWAY hits UK theaters on November 15, 2013 and washes up on U.S. shores on April 4, 2014.
