As Netflix's summer schedule rapidly approaches, the subscription-based streaming service wants customers to know that things will really be heating up when STRANGER THINGS makes its Season 3 return. Y'all remember Wendy Peffercorn from THE SANDLOT, don't you? Well, she's about to have some stiff competion for hottest bod at the public pool when Billy Hargrove (Dacre Montgomery) arrives wearing a flattering red swimsuit of his very own. Hide your wives, men of Hawkins, because Billy is quite the snack and those cougars have claws!
In the above clip, Karen Wheeler (Cara Buono) and a pack of lusty ladies are lounging by the Hawkins public pool. As the clock strikes the hour, and his shift begins, Billy emerges to patrol the pool persistently with his chiseled physique, mane made of golden locks, and seemingly ceaseless array of swagger. As he makes his way past the group, you can almost hear the internal moans of ecstasy as each of the women drink him in. Of course, the clip calls back to Karen's pre-established chemistry with the Lothario lifeguard, as the two flirted innocently enough during the events of the show's second season. Obviously, the Duffer Brothers are well aware that fans enjoyed the duo's exchange of heat in Season 2, and are willing to take their attraction a bit further for the follow-up events.
When STRANGER THINGS' third season kicks off, the show will center around the Fourth of July holiday, with Hawkins' own tribe of teens growing up in more ways than one. Could it be that aspects of the new season will play like an 80s teen sex comedy? I certainly hope so, as summer romance themes often lead to hilarious hijinks, and what's STRANGER THINGS without a little coming-of-age drama?
STRANGER THINGS, starring Millie Bobby Brown, Natalia Dyer, Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, David Harbour, Cary Elwes, Darce Montgomery, Cara Buono, Gaten Matarazzo, Jake Busey, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, Sadie Sink, Maya Hawke and Noah Schnapp is set to launch all episodes belonging to the show's third season on July 4th.
