With less than a year to go before 2017’s GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 and SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING it’s certain we will start to see more revealing images and videos for the flicks. Though we have only gotten some concept art and behind-the-scenes photos of GUARDIANS, a bigger image has just been seen for SPIDER-MAN. You could even say it’s the most important image related to the movie—the poster.
An Instagram photo taken on the floor of the fashion trade show Magic Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Convention Center reveals what appears to be the first poster for the movie starring Tom Holland. The photo is no longer on the user's page, but a screenshot was taken of the image.

There’s no word yet from Marvel if this is the first official poster for the movie, or if it was just some advertisement for gear the company was selling at the show. However, the poster does fall in line with the normal style of Marvel’s teaser posters. It’s simple and direct with Spidey just hanging around giving the looker a bit of a tip-of-the-cap gesture.
Well, if it’s not an official poster, then maybe it should be. It's kinda fun, doesn't give too much away or take itself too seriously, much like teaser poster of ANT-MAN where it was just him ant-sized against a white backdrop. Plus, if my eyes aren’t mistaken, the poster has a bit of a hand-drawn vibe going on. That would certainly be a change compared to the posters for most blockbuster movies. Whether it’s an official poster or not, it’s the closest we got, so drink it in!
SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING is set to come out on July 7, 2017 starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton and Robert Downey Jr.
