Adam Green did an interview with EW last month that briefly touched on what Tim Sullivan (right) was going to bring to the table in CHILLERAMA. “Tim Sullivan is doing something called I was a Teenage Werebear. In gay culture there’s a term ‘Bear’ for guys that are big hairy burly men, and his has kind of a Rebel Without A Cause-type feel.”
Now, courtesy of Dread-Central, we’ve got a preview of some early (and hairy) artwork from Tim Sullivan’s segment of the anthology: I WAS A TEENAGE WEREBEAR. I’ll leave it up to the readers of AITH who can decipher what that means. If you’re not good with reading up stuff and would prefer an image, hit up the preview below and click on it. But be warned: if you’re not into “big hairy burly men” then this might come as a “big hairy” shocker for ya.
The image is actually showing a little bit of 70’s porn history as it features Ron Jeremy. Good lord, is that guy still around? Ron Jeremy was on shoot for production when Sullivan and key photographer Parrish Randall found some time to snag a few pics at the beach with Jeremy donning some heavy artillery…and a lollipop. Funny enough the entire set was actually designed by Adam Rifkin. Go figure.
Tim Sullivan comments on those who are void of childish innocence after viewing the image and who a still lost on what the film could be: “the image pretty much sums it up.” Click on the image below to be re-directed to a larger version….yadda, yadda, yadda, you know the drill.
