First Look: The Domestics starring Kate Bosworth & Tyler Hoechlin

Later this summer we will be seeing the release of the Orion Classics film THE DOMESTICS starring Kate Bosworth, Tyler Hoechlin, Sonoya Mizuno, and Lance Reddick. And today we have your first look at the film via an all-new still, which you can see above, along with a bigger version below.

The film is directed and written by Mike P. Nelson and it's set to premiere in select U.S. Theaters on June 28 and on VOD on June 29. This is the first film to relaunch Orion Classics (an MGM company) which will focus on multiplatform and specialized releases. 

It's based on a screenplay by Nelson and takes place in:

A terrifying post-apocalyptic world inhabited by murderous gangs divided into deadly factions, a husband and wife race desperately across the lawless countryside in search of safety and must work together as they are pushed to the breaking point in order to survive.

That's one hell of a synopsis. I'm ready to check out the film based on that rundown alone, but add in the fact that the film stars the adorable Kate Bosworth and the badass Lance Reddick and I'm there. Signed, sealed, and delivered. How about you?

The film's world premiere will be on the opening night of the Cinepocalypse film festival on June 21, and the gritty dystopian action thriller will be premiering in select U.S. theaters on June 28 and on VOD on June 29.
