Production is underway on X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, and to mark the occasion, Bryan Singer and Kodi Smit-McPhee (DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, LET ME IN) have revealed the first look at Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler. It seems to be more of a concept image than an actual picture of the actor as the teleporting mutant, but it still gives us a very good look at how he will appear in the upcoming movie.
BAMF!
Looks pretty damn good to me, although I’m sure a few of you aren’t going to be pleased with his “emo swoop.” Bryan Singer will more than likely be posting a bunch of behind-the-scenes stuff while filming X-MEN: APOCALYPSE (as he did for X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST), and while checking out how Kodi Smit-McPhee will look in the film is great and all, I know I’m not the only who is extremely excited to see Oscar Isaac‘s Apocalypse. Do you think Smit-McPhee’s Nightcrawler is better, worse or on par with the Alan Cumming version from X2: X-MEN UNITED, and when do you think we’ll get a first look at Apocalypse?
X-MEN: APOCALYPSE opens on May 27, 2016.
