Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan's terrifying vampire tale is coming to life on the small screen, and today we've got visual proof as the first set of stills have rolled in featuring the show's star, Corey Stoll. The first image gives us a look at the CDC, who discover something truly horrifying on a plane that had been out of contact. This is a crucial moment in the story that sets everything in motion for the rest of the series. The next image is a shot of Corey Stoll who looks quite perplexed, and rightfully so—vampires are about to take over the world, man!
Here's what the series will be about:

As the strain spreads, Eph, his team, and an assembly of everyday New Yorkers wage war for the fate of humanity itself.
