First look at Arnold Schwarzenegger and Emilia Clarke in Terminator: Genesis

Alan Taylor‘s TERMINATOR: GENESIS has been in production for a short amount of time and we have yet to receive any official synopsis on the movie. So far we have only heard bits and pieces about the plot returning to events from the original THE TERMINATOR and essentially rebooting the series in another direction. Arnold Schwarzenegger even explained how the T-800 is older now because their human flesh ages like any other person.

But, until now, we didn’t really have any idea how everything would fit together or even how it would look. Now, we have our first look at set photos from TERMINATOR: GENESIS that showcase how our new Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney), Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke), and T-800 (Schwarzenegger) will look.

The sight of Reese and Sarah Connor brandishing guns made me furrow my brow, but I am too focused on the gray flattop brandished by Arnold in these images. Gone is the leather jacket and sunglasses, replaced by an Army surplus coat and some jeans. How this all fits together plot-wise is still a mystery, but stay tuned and we will let you know as soon as we find out.

TERMINATOR: GENESIS will hit theaters on July 1, 2015.
