We recently brought you the second wave of title announcements for this years upcoming Fantasia Film Festival and one of the highlights was Matt O'Mahoney's BLOODY KNUCKLES, a film that could start a revival of the rogue limb films we all know and love such as IDLE HANDS and 1981's Oliver Stone-helmed cult classic THE HAND. Now the first image and poster for the horror-comedy has arrived to give you the finger.
Above you will see the first image from the flick, which is the feature debut from O’Mahoney, and follows…
“Travis Warner, an underground comic book artist who revels in the profane. When his latest comic offends a Chinatown crime boss, the gangster removes his drawing hand as punishment. Travis abandons his comic, along with his ideals, and spirals into drunken misery. That is, until his hand returns from the grave. The lovable, decomposing appendage drags Travis through a seedy netherworld of dirty comics, contraband pesticides, and underground sex clubs on its quest for justice!”
Below you'll find the first poster for BLOODY KNUCKLES, which isn't afraid to offend. Hey, up yours, too!
BLOODY KNUCKLES sounds like a lurid, nasty, and goofy good time. If this first poster is any indication we're in for a very un-PC trip with this one. I've got to hand it to whoever designed this poster…it makes me wanna stand up and give it a hand!
BLOODY KNUCKLES will be playing as part of the impressive lineup for this years Fantasia Film Festival. The full lineup is set to be revealed this Thursday, July 10.
