First Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 reactions compare it to Endgame

Following its world premiere in Disneyland Paris, the first reactions to the third Guardians movies are in.

The first reactions for the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 are in following its first screening this past weekend at Disneyland Paris. They’re looking like the trilogy capper may be one of the best in the entire universe…well, the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The reactions look to place the third Guardians of the Galaxy not just as the best in the trilogy but next to 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, which is generally considered one of–if not the–best Marvel movies.

And like Endgame, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 seems to be just the sort of movie that not only will be nonstop entertaining, but hit viewers on an emotional level as well, based on these reactions:

It has been a journey for the cast and crew, something star(-lord) himself, Chris Pratt, recently spoke about, citing the skepticism surrounding the first movie. “We had this great run. At the end, I wanted to read some of those clippings to the cast and crew and to James and to…I guess kind of rub it in a little bit. Just to say we overcame a lot to get to where we are and we weren’t supposed to be where we are but we did something special. Just to bask in the moment of what these last 10 years have been.” And it seems that, based on the above Guardians reactions (and so many more), Pratt and the rest of the cast will be able to bask a little longer.

Also able to enjoy the last Guardians hurrah is director James Gunn, as this third installment marks his final outing as a member of team Marvel, having jumped ship (the Bowie, perhaps?) to DC to serve as co-CEO and co-chairman. He has continued to promote Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 despite his new position, showing a loyalty to the brand that will only help in the movie’s box office take. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 arrives on May 5th.

How do your reactions to the upcoming third Guardians of the Galaxy align with your expectations? Will you catch it on opening weekend? Let us know below!
