The story of Harry Potter and all his wizarding pals may be over, as they go on to the world of magical jobs and magical taxes, but our adventures with Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) are just getting started. The new movie in the prequel saga, FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD, has released the official first trailer for the movie, highlighting plenty of magical elements and some dark, mysterious situations.
We get a pretty great look at the movie here considering how far off we are from the November release. This time around it looks like a much grander adventure, with bigger set pieces and more action, with Jude Law looking to steal the show as a young Albus Dumbledore. The first movie was a solid start, but there’s plenty of room for everything from the characters, tone, and story to grow. Hopefully, this movie moves the story in an exciting direction, or the wait to see how this planned five-movie saga turns out is going to be a long one.
FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD arrives November 16.
