No Time Die: Final trailer shows the wait is over for the next Bond film

After numerous COVID-19 delays, the latest Bond film No Time To Die will hit screens in the U.K. in September and October in the U.S. Judging from the final trailer for the film, these dates should stick and we will finally get to see Daniel Craig’s final time playing 007.

No Time To Die is the 25th entry in the James Bond franchise and it’s directed by Cary Joi Fukunaga. In the film, five years after the capture of Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Christoph Waltz), James Bond has left active service. He is approached by friend and CIA officer Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright), who enlists his help in the search of Valdo Obruchev (David Dencik), a missing scientist. When it becomes apparent that Obruchev has been abducted, Bond must confront a villain whose schemes could see the death of millions. The film also stars Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, Ana de Armas, Billy Magnussen, and Lea Seydoux.

The delays that have plagued No Time To Die due to the pandemic have only added to its production costs. The film was initially set for release in November of 2019 but a director change took that release date off the books. From there the film was hit with injuries and the global pandemic that has reportedly cost the studio $1 million a month in interest until the movie is released. According to most reports, No Time To Die needs to make $900 million worldwide to break even.
