Final Girl, starring Abigail Breslin, out this August

While the image of an innocent Abigail Breslin slowly transforming into the undead in MAGGIE is still fresh on our minds, she’s transforming once again in Tyler Shields’ FINAL GIRL, except this time she’s becoming an unstoppable badass! On tap is word of a release date, something we’ve been waiting on for much too long.

FINAL GIRL will be leaving its mark on VOD outlets this August 14, following a pack of teenage boys who choose the wrong girl to be the victim of their “initiation.”

Loner Veronica is new to school, shy and vulnerable, the perfect target for a group of teenage boys who lure girls into the woods to hunt and kill them for sport. It’s only after they get her alone that she turns the tables on them, escaping and revealing she’s armed and knows how to defend herself. Little do they know, Veronica is an assassin-in-training, and she’s chosen killing these boys as her final test. When the dust clears, Veronica will find out if she can be the final girl these boys ever have a chance to hurt.

Abigail Breslin stars as the lead with Alexander Ludwig, Wes Bentley, Logan Huffman, Connor Paolo, Francesca Eastwood, and Michael Trevino rounding out the cast.
