Final Detroit trailer showcases the glowing reception

DETROIT is shaping up to be an intense, jarring and enlightening recreation of a dark moment in American history. The movie is already garnering high praise, with critics touting it as one of the best movies of the year, and one that reaffirms Kathryn Bigelow as one of the best directors of our generation. A final trailer has dropped for the film, and the ferocity and suspense have never been more palpable.

Bigelow doesn't put out too many films, with her last movie being 2012's ZERO DARK THIRTY, but that's because she puts so much time and energy into each piece of work. Clearly, the hard work pays off, as DETROIT is already earning tons of early Oscar buzz and could be a big player when awards season kicks in.
