It’s time for another episode of the WTF Happened to This Horror Movie? video series, and with this one we’re looking back at a film that was released in 2000 and kicked off a franchise with four sequels and counting. The film in question is Final Destination (watch it HERE), and you can find out all about it by watching the video embedded above.
Directed by James Wong, who crafted the screenplay with Glen Morgan and Jeffrey Reddick, Final Destination has the following synopsis: Alex Browning is embarking on a trip to Paris when he experiences a premonition — he sees the plane explode moments after leaving the ground. Alex insists that everyone get off the plane and 7 people including Alex are forced to disembark. All watch as the plane actually explodes in a fireball. He and the other survivors have briefly cheated death, but will not be able to evade their fate for very long. One by one, these fugitives from fate fall victim to the grim reaper.
The film stars Devon Sawa, Ali Larter, Kerr Smith, Kristen Cloke, Daniel Roebuck, Roger Guenveur Smith, Chad E. Donella, Seann William Scott, Tony Todd, Amanda Detmer, Brendan Fehr, and Forbes Angus.

Sometimes huge hits, sometimes box office bombs. Either way, we have to ask: WTF Happened To This Horror Movie?
