The Bat Signal has been turned on. Clark is headed to the telephone booth. Filming on BATMAN VS SUPERMAN has begun.
Thanks to the kind folks of Metamora, Michigan we now know that production is underway on the superhero flick. Residents of the town told NBC25 that they originally started receiving letters in February concerning the work the crew would be doing around the area. If you leave nearby, you might want to check out what Snyder and crew having going on near Caley Road. However, there were no reports of Bat, Supes, or Wonder Woman sightings at that time.
The letter from Crown City Productions received by one of the residents stated that a “temporary project” would be ongoing at an old Girl Scout camp nearby. When the news channel went to check out the list of projects that Crown City had underway, the only one that had a temporary status was BATMAN VS SUPERMAN. They go on to confirm that a big “showdown” would be shot there. A house was built back on the grounds with the resident describing that it was “lit up like daylight” at one point. Crown City Production also confirmed that filming was not completed on the site.
Back in December, a casting call for extras in the area was posted on the official Facebook page for Elite Artist Management NY.
