I've got some exciting news for all you Edgar Wright fans out there: The Cornetto Trilogy filmmaker has begun shooting for his new movie, BABY DRIVER. The project has been described as a "collision of crime, action, music, and sound," and will follow "a talented, young getaway driver (THE FAULT IN OUR STARS' Ansel Elgort) who relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss (Jamie Foxx), he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom."
In addition to Elgort and Foxx, the upcoming film also stars Kevin Spacey, CINDERELLA actress Lily James (who will be playing the love interest), and Mad Men's Jon Hamm as "a villain who is part of a gang of bank robbers." Wright has already shared several behind-the-scenes pics from the production on his Twitter and Instagram accounts, which you can check out below.
BABY DRIVER is due out on March 17, 2017.
