On the list of movies that will be coming out during what remains of 2016, DON'T BREATHE, the "robbery gone wrong" home invasion thriller that re-teams EVIL DEAD 2013 director Fede Alvarez with producer Sam Raimi, is high up there as one of the releases that I'm most interested in.
Written by Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues, the film tells the following story:
Three teens who get away with perfectly planned home robberies have set their sights on one last payout that will get them out of crime forever. Their target: a reclusive blind man with millions of dollars in hiding. But as soon as they break into his home, the tables are turned and they find themselves trapped and fighting for survival against a psychopath with secrets of his own.
DON'T BREATHE will be reaching theatres on August 26th, and just over two weeks away from opening weekend a vignette has been released online that gives a look behind the scenes while Alvarez and stars Jane Levy, Daniel Zovatto, and Dylan Minnette discuss the characters and the terrible situation they find themselves, with the main focus being how scary Stephen Lang is as the blind man.
This one is a must-watch for me, especially after our own Jake Dee gave it a 9/10 review.
