Netflix and director Mike Flanagan's new masterpiece of TV The Haunting of Hill House has been gathering up fans left and right throughout the past week, and for good reason too. The series is legitimately one of the best things I've seen hit TV since BREAKING BAD and the first season of HBO's TRUE DETECTIVE. And if you've seen the series, then you'll know that the sixth episode was a whopper. Comprised of a series of long takes, episode 6 had all of us picking our collective jaws off the floor when all was finally said and dine.
And if you were as big of a fan of the episode as all the rest of us were, then today you'll want to check out an all-new featurette Netflix just put up regarding just how the hell they pulled off the stunning episode. You can give it a watch below and then let us know what you thought of episode 6 "Two Storms" – or The Haunting of Hill House altogether – below!
The official synopsis for The Haunting of Hill House:
A modern reimagining of Shirley Jackson’s iconic novel, The Haunting of Hill House explores a group of siblings who, as children, grew up in what would go on to become the most famous haunted house in the country. Now adults, and forced back together in the face of tragedy, the family must finally confront the ghosts of their past — some of which still lurk in their minds while others may actually be stalking the shadows of Hill House.
Created, directed, and executive-produced by Mike Flanagan (GERALD'S GAME), The Haunting of Hill House is a complex family drama wrapped up in a chilling horror story which follows a group of siblings who grew up in the most famous haunted house in the country, and are forced to confront the ghosts of their past years later. The Haunting of Hill House is now available on Netflix RIGHT HERE.
