years since
WISHMASTER, the film that totally destroyed my
boyhood image of what a genie was, was released in theatre’s. I mean I was only
14 when it came out and I can still remember it’s opening scene just blowing me
away with the over the top special effects just like it was yesterday. I guess I
wasn’t the only one who was blown away however, since the folks over at
FEARnet.com
have initiated a 10 year anniversary celebration for the giver of wishes.
If you head
here
you can check out the special online DVD special features that
FEARnet
is hosting for this anniversary party. Some of these special features will
include shorts about director Robert Kurtzman and the making of the film, audio
clips of everyone from Kurtzman, to Peter Atkins (Djinn), to Tony Todd and Kane
Hodder, as well as games and contests.
And best of all, on June 1st there
will be a live chat on
FEARnet with
WISHMASTER director Robert Kurtzman! (And for those who register
early, you have a chance at winning a special autographed prize.)
So if you enjoy the work of the word
twisting Djinn or just like the opportunity at maybe winning free stuff, pop
over to
FEARnet and check out the all the cool stuff for the
WISHMASTER 10 year anniversary.
