I haven't really kept up with either THE WALKING DEAD or its spin-off FEAR THE WALKING DEAD, but I was aware that the current pandemic has halted release dates for both shows. Luckily, with the recent virtual Comic-Con in full swing, we now know more about the fate of both series. First off, it was revealed that THE WALKING DEAD will finish its tenth season on Sunday, October 4 at 9pm EST! Here's the official synopsis of the final episode:
The second-to-last episode of the tenth season left us dangling off a cliff, with Beta leading a massive horde of walkers to an abandoned building that our heroes have been hiding out in. The war with the Whisperers will surely reach a bloody conclusion in the season’s finale.
Not only that, but also it appears, since season 11 won't be coming out this October, six new extra six episodes are coming 2021!
Meanwhile, FEAR THE WALKING DEAD will premiere on AMC Sunday, October 11th at 9/8c, and you can watch the trailer for the sixth season at the top of the article! And, according to the panel:
As rumored, Season 6 will be more of an anthology series with episodes focused more on a limited amount of characters.
So what do you guys think? Still fans of THE WALKING DEAD and FEAR THE WALKING DEAD? If so, how do you feel about the Comic-Con news? Either way, sound off below!
