Fear the Walking Dead Garret Dillahunt

Actor Garret Dillahunt has racked up 85 screen acting credits over the last 25 years, including roles on the TV shows Deadwood, The X-Files, Millennium, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, ER, Burn Notice, Raising Hope, Justified, and The Gifted, and in the films THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT 2009, WINTER'S BONE, BURNING BRIGHT, NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, LOOPER, THE ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES BY THE COWARD ROBERT FORD, and 12 YEARS A SLAVE, among others. Dillahunt can currently be seen turning in a great, endearing performance as the gunslinging John Dorie on AMC's Fear the Walking Dead… and he won't be getting away from zombies with his new film role.

Dillahunt has signed on to co-star in director Zack Snyder's long-awaited ARMY OF THE DEAD, which is now filming in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Written by Snyder, Joby Harold, and Shay Hatten, ARMY OF THE DEAD is an adventure film that takes place after

a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, where a man assembles a group of mercenaries to take the ultimate gamble: venturing into the quarantined zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.

Dave Bautista stars in the film, and the previously announced cast members are Ella Purnell, Ana De La Reguera, and Huma Qureshi.

New additions announced alongside Dillahunt are Raúl Castillo, Omari Hardwick, Chris D’Elia, Hiroyuki Sanada, Nora Arnezeder, Matthias Schweighöfer, Samantha Win, and Rich Cetrone.

Once ARMY OF DEAD wraps filming in Albuquerque, the production will move to New Jersey to shoot in a casino in Atlantic City.

Snyder is producing the film with Deborah Snyder and Wesley Coller.
