AMC has revealed a new promo for their upcoming horror series Fear the Walking Dead, which you can find below. It’s called “Nick’s Escape.” I’m not sure what kind of illicit activity this dude was up to before he got the shit scared right out of him, but I’m sure he regrets it now.
Along with The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead will be shambling into San Diego Comic-Con next month with a one hour panel. I’m guessing the first full trailer will premiere then and there, followed quickly by an online debut. Circle July 10th on your calendar. The series will begin airing in August.
A companion series to The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead is executive produced by Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, David Alpert and showrunner David Erickson and produced by AMC Studios. Co-Executive Producer Adam Davidson, who directed the pilot, is also directing the second and third episodes. The series’ first season, consisting of six one-hour episodes, will premiere on AMC in late summer.
The series, set in Los Angeles, stars Kim Dickens as Madison, Cliff Curtis as Travis, Frank Dillane as Nick, Alycia Debnam-Carey as Alicia, Elizabeth Rodriguez as Liza, Ruben Blades as Daniel, Mercedes Mason as Ofelia and Lorenzo James Henrie as Chris.
