At the FAST AND FURIOUS junket last week they had legendary graffiti artist Mister Cartoon on site working on a special billboard for the movie. It was a pretty cool concept as you could walk by and watch the man work. Sadly he was behind schedule and our time to talk to the dude was extremely limited. But today the art is done and is hanging over Sunset Boulevard. The whole thing took over 40 hours and 48 cans of spray paint to complete. I gotta say it’s a much better way to do a billboard than just having a bunch of heads staring at me while I sit in traffic. Check out some behind-the-scenes pics and a featurette below and if you’re at the corner of Sunset and Sherbourne, look up and check out the man’s work!
