Fast and Furious 10: Jason Momoa in talks to join the Fast Family sequel

My man! I think Hollywood just injected some NOS into my veins because we’re hearing that Jason Momoa is in talks to join the cast of Fast and Furious 10. According to THR, Momoa is in final negotiations to join the Fast Family for another off-road adventure into the unknown. Details about the plot for Fast and Furious 10 are still under wraps, though the word is that Momoa is playing a villain.

Justin Lin is directing Fast and Furious 10, with Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Sung Kang confirmed to be returning. Also expected to return is Charlize Theron as the villain Cipher.

Last year, Diesel asked Dwayne Johnson to come back to the franchise via a post on social media. Johnson played Lucas “Luke” Hobbs in Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6, Furious 7, The Fate of the Furious, and the Fast spinoff film Hobbs & Shaw. Johnson responded to Diesel’s request by saying there’s “no chance” he’ll be returning to the franchise. While his response came as a shock to many, and disappointed fans who’d been hoping for his return, Johnson called Diesel manipulative and dismissed his gesture to make Hobbs a part of the Fast finale.

Momoa wrapped filming for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom last year and is set to star in Slumberland, an epic fantasy adventure based on the Winsor McCay comic strip. Slumberland also stars Kyle Chandler, Chris O’Dowd, Tonya Carnelisse, Humberly Gonzalez, India de Beaufort, Ava Cheung, Katerina Taxia, and Marlow Barkley as Nemo. The film focuses on a young girl who discovers a secret map to the dreamworld of Slumberland, and with the help of an eccentric outlaw, she traverses dreams and flees nightmares, with the hope that she will be able to see her late father again.
