Kudos to creative fans from around the world. A group of kids recreated the EXTRACTION trailer, starring Chris Hemsworth, and the shot for shot recreation was so good that Hemsworth took notice and shared it on his Instagram to his 43 million followers.
The video splits the screen in half, with the upper half having the original trailer while the bottom has the recreated footage. It shows a group of kids impersonating EXTRACTION stars as they recreate the trailer scene by scene. The kids got creative and made fake guns and wrote credits on a piece of cardboard that read “THE VISIONARY DIRECTORS OF AVENGERS: ENDGAME”. They also used a trolley to show a moving car, toy helicopter, and cars to depict the same moments from the original trailer. The children even remade "only on Netflix" in their own style. You can check out Chris Hemsworth's Instagram post below where he calls their trailer "better than the original":
As soon as Hemsworth posted the trailer to his Instagram page it garnered even more attention. The video has been viewed 12.5 million times as of this writing and the post has 41.5K comments. To have the star of the film share their work on his platform that has allowed the trailer to be seen by millions all over the world has to mean the world to the kids who created it and were a part of it. The film credit for the trailer goes to @ikorodu_bois and I'm sure their already staggering 720K followers are about to grow immensely following this great assist from Chris Hemsworth.
EXTRACTION, a Netflix original film, follows Tyler Rake (Hemsworth) a fearless black market mercenary that embarks on the most deadly extraction off his career when he's enlisted to rescue the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime lord. The film also stars David Harbour with Sam Hargrave serving as the helmer on the project.
