Why be part of one mega-franchise when you can be a part ot two? That seems to be the thought on Ezra Miller's mind as Variety has reported that the actor is currently in early talks to take on a role in the Harry Potter spin-off FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM. Ezra is already a part of the Warner Bros. family as he'll be taking on the role of The Flash is their DC Cinematic Universe.

Ezra Miller is being sought after for the role of Kredan, who is a person with magical powers who encounters magizoologist Newt Scamander when he arrives in New York City on his travels to find and document magical creatures. Warner Bros. had no comment on the casting but Variety's source tells them that Miller has been the favourite for weeks and recently emerged as the front-runner for the role.

FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM already has Eddie Redmayne on board to play the lead role of Newt Scamander as well as Katherine Waterson as Tina. Two pivotal roles have yet to have been cast, that of Queenie, Tina's younger sister, as well as Jacob, a rival of Newt Scamander's. Apparently Alison Sudol is David Yates' choice for the role of Queenie while Josh Gad and Michael Cera are said to be meeting next week to see who will take the role of Jacob. J.K. Rowling will make her screenwriting debut with FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM and David Yates will take on directing duties for the film which is scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 18, 2016, with sequels following suit in 2018 and 2020.
