UPDATE: Apparently, the extended synopsis was not legit, so we've updated with the actual official one (the one from the Berlin Film Festival has since been removed as well).
In just a month, many of us will be sitting down to watch Hugh Jackman's final appearance as Wolverine (unless Ryan Reynolds is able to get his way) in LOGAN, but for those of you able to attend the Berlin International Film Festival, you'll be able to see the film a little sooner. The James Mangold flick will premiere at the festival on February 17th, and the official Berlin Film Festival site has unveiled an extended synopsis of LOGAN which reveals a few new details about the film as well as the mystery surrounding X-23 (Dafne Keen). Also revealed was the film's running-time, which is looking like it will clock in at 135 minutes.
If you're looking to stay completely fresh, be warned that the following synopsis may contain a few mild spoilers. If you're still interested in reading, simply scroll past the following images.
The official synopsis for LOGAN:
In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan's attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.
After premiering at the Berlin International Film Festival, LOGAN will open wide on March 3, 2017.
