It seemed inevitable but now we have official confirmation that an extended cut of SUICIDE SQUAD will premiere with its Digital HD and Blu-ray release. The film will hit Digital HD on November 15h and Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, and Blu-ray on December 13th. There's no word of special features yet, but all of these iterations will include an extended cut of the film, which adds an extra 13 minutes to the running time. So what do you think? Will this extended cut pull a BATMAN V SUPERMAN and end up pleasing most of its fans? We know that there's some Joker footage lying around, so perhaps this may help to actually sell Jared Leto's Joker. I wasn't a fan of his interpretation, but I'm willing to blame the writing/editing on that one. At the very least, we'll have something a little different to check out come this December.
