Director Jon Abrahams‘ psychological thriller Exploited is set to receive a digital and cable VOD release on March 11th, and today we’re proud to share the EXCLUSIVE first look at the film’s trailer! Exploited stars Sierra McCormick (American Horror Stories), Makenzie Vega (The Good Wife), Leah Pipes (The Originals), Will Peltz (Sierra Burgess Is a Loser), Spencer List (Bereavement), Jordan Ver Hoeve (Huge in France), Colin Bates (American Rust), Hannah Rose May (Ballers), Andrew Matthew Welch (Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase), and Lisa Thornhill (Killer Daddy Issues).
Written by Carl Moellenberg and Anthony Del Negro, the film has the following synopsis:
As Brian checks into his dorm room, he discovers a thumb drive which includes files of a web cam model interacting with clients. But the last session ends in what may be a murder. He becomes obsessed with unravelling the story, but his quest becomes complicated when he falls in love with his roommate, who is already taken. The mysterious disappearance of the web cam model takes on a dangerous voyeuristic role when the love triangle find their lives being manipulated and blackmailed. Exploited tells a provocative story set on a college campus against the backdrop of a voyeuristic hacker. Real world fears such as personal privacy and camming are explored in this psychological thriller.
Carl Moellenberg and Anthony Del Negro also produced Exploited with Shane O’Brien and Zach O’Brien. Skyler Stucky was co-producer, and Kevin Otte the line producer.
Abrahams previously directed the drama All at Once and the crime comedy Clover. You may also know him from his acting career; he has appeared in such films as Kids, Dead Man Walking, The Faculty, Boiler Room, Scary Movie, Meet the Parents, They, House of Wax, Prime, Non-Stop, and Apparition.
