Fans of 30 Rock will have something to look forward to come next month as a good deal of the creative force behind that show, including Tina Fey, will be debuting Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix. The show is centered around a woman (Ellie Kemper) who is rescued from a doomsday cult and starts life over as a nanny for an Upper East Side socialite (Jane Krakowski) in New York City. The trailer hit late last month but we now have a short promo video with the stars and creators trying to explain in 3 words why Kimmy Schmidt is the show you need to see, plus a motion poster (at the bottom).

I felt the trailer had one-too-many pop songs in its short run time, but Ellie Kemper knows how to deliver one hell of an infectiously optimistic personality. Her work on The Office was fantastic and I've always been a fan of Tina Fey's comedic stylings, so I'll be curious to see if some of that 30 Rock magic rubs off here. The fact that Netflix has already renewed this one for a second season should bode well for those looking forward to checking it out.
The first season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will hit Netflix on March 6, 2015.
