Exclusive: Wes Craven’s Summer of Fear Blu-ray bonus features & release date

Back in June, we let you guys know that Wes Craven's SUMMER OF FEAR, starring Linda Blair, will be hitting Special Collector’s Edition Blu-ray via Doppelganger Releasing. Today we have EXCLUSIVE news that the Special Edition hits on October 10th!

The film is also set to hit DVD and VOD: Amazon Instant, Google Play, iTunes, YouTube, Vudu.

Extras include an exclusive new interview with Linda Blair. I know I will be trying to snag a copy of the flick on Blu-ray as I am a Wes Craven completist and I have to hear his commentary for this flick!

SUMMER OF FEAR synopsis:

A chilling cult classic, Wes Craven’s SUMMER OF FEAR (1978) follows a country family of five who take in cousin Julie (Lee Purcell), whose parents recently died in a car crash. While the rest of the family and those around them are completely charmed by Julie, teenaged daughter Rachel (Linda Blair) grows suspect that her cousin has an alternative agenda; one that possibly includes witchcraft.

SUMMER OF FEAR is directed by Wes Craven from a script by Glenn M. Benest and Max A. Keller based off the book by Lois Duncan. The film stars Linda Blair, Lee Purcell, Jeff East and Fran Drescher.

SUMMER OF FEAR hits Blu-ray, DVD, and VOD October 10th.
