One of the funnier stoner comedies to come along in the last decade is undeniably 2004's HAROLD & KUMAR GO TO WHITE CASTLE, produced by Jon Hurwitz and directed by Danny Leiner, starring John Cho (Harold) and Kal Penn (Kumar) as a pair of best friends that navigate all manner of craziness in order to satiate their muchies at White Castle. The film is chock full of hilarious guest stars, including Neil Patrick Harris (as himself, no less), Ethan Embry, Fred Willard, David Krumholtz, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Christopher Meloni, Jamie Kennedy, Ryan Reynolds, and a deliciously topless Malin Akerman. Now, the film is celebrating its ten-year anniversary and we have an exclusive video from the 10th Anniversary Double Feature, which took place on August 6, 2014 at New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles.
The Q&A took place between HK1 and HK2 and features Jon Hurwitz & Hayden Schlossberg (Writers of all HK movies, directors of HK2), Danny Leiner (Director, HK1), Luke Ryan (Producer, HK1), John Cho (Harold), Kal Penn (Kumar), David Krumholtz (Goldstein), Eddie Kaye Thomas (Rosenberg), Christopher Meloni (Freak Show, Grand Wizard), Kate Kelton (Battle Shits Girl), Randal Reeder (Big Bob), Lester Speight (Dr. Jonavon White), and was moderated by Kory Davis. The group discuss how the film came to be, anecdotes from the production, the overall impact and reception of the film since it first debuted, and some raunchy details about the upcoming animated series coming to Adult Swim!
