With hints of similarly-minded indie revenge flicks, the new film 88 has got some cool things going for it; Directed by actress/filmmaker April Mullen and written by actor/writer Tim Doiron, the film has got a kitschy cool cast and a visual style that fits the vengeance-fueled tone. Today we've got an exclusive trailer/poster debut for the film, which stars Katharine Isabelle (GINGER SNAPS, AMERICAN MARY, Hannibal), Christopher Lloyd, Michael Ironside, Tim Doiron, Kyle Schmid, and Jesse McCartney.

Here's the synopsis:
88 follows Gwen (Isabelle), a young woman who comes to in a road side diner with no idea where she is or how she got there. Split between two timelines, blurring reality and fiction, Gwen gets taken on a revenge-fueled journey as she seeks out the person responsible for her lover’s death.
Katharine Isabelle has made a name for herself as a genre star in recent years and it's always great to see Christopher Lloyd back in action, especially as the villain. Ultimately, I get a genre blender feel from this one that's full of potential for a fun, violent ride. Girls, guns, and Evil Doc Brown? I'm in.
88 hits VOD and blu-ray on January 6, 2015.
