THE COLLECTOR and THE COLLECTION (and FEAST) director Marcus Dunstan returns to helm the upcoming third entry in the series, cleverly titled, THE COLLECTED. The film has begun shooting in Atlanta and we have already shared your first look at The Collector and Josh Stewart back in action on-set. And today we have word from Tom Atkins himself on just who the hell he's playing in the new movie – Josh Stewart's father. 

Atkins revealed to us yesterday in an exclusive interview:

It's fun working with Josh Stewart. I play his father. He is fighting the evil, and I help him in every way I can.

He continued on to say:

Yeah, The Collected. We're still working on it. It's funny, Marcus Dunstan is directing it, he wrote it, and we're shooting in Atlanta and a few and a half ago maybe two weeks ago we did the ending first. He said, 'It's a horror movie and its all about the ending.' It was a 12-page sequence but I'm not in all 12 pages. So I went down and we shot my part and then they shot the entire ending. But in the meantime, I went off to Beyond Fest and the premiere of Trick out here in L.A., and now sometime later this week I will be called back down to Atlanta to finish the film.

THE COLLECTOR followed:

Desperate for money to pay off a debt, a man targets a wealthy family's home and plans to break in and steal a valuable gem. He soon learns that he picked the wrong night to carry out his plans, for a masked madman has gotten there first, imprisoned the family, and lined the mansion with deadly traps.

Then THE COLLECTION centered on:

A young woman named Elena (Emma Fitzpatrick) sneaks out of her house one night to attend an exclusive party, unaware of the horror that awaits her. A sick criminal known as The Collector crashes the party in search of fresh victims. When Elena goes into hiding, she finds and frees Arkin (Josh Stewart), The Collector's captive. Arkin manages to escape, but Elena is taken prisoner. A mercenary friend of Elena's father then forces Arkin to come along on a mission to free the young woman.

Both films were directed by Marcus Dunstan (FEAST) from screenplays he co-wrote along with Patrick Melton. The cast includes Tom Atkins, Josh Stewart, Randy Havens (Stranger Things), Dot-Marie Jones (THREE FROM HELL) Navi Rawat (FEAST), and Emma Fitzpatrick who will reprise her role from the previous film.
