Michael Biehn has a new flick coming out this May called THE SHADOW EFFECT.
The film co-stars Cam Gigandet, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and Brit Shaw (see below) and sounds like an awesome mixture of A CLOCKWORK ORANGE and THE DEAD ZONE.
At least that's what it looks like from the EXCLUSIVE clip below.
Brr. I've got to say that this quick clip got to me. I have a thing with eyes. It's a wonder I have ever been able to make it through ONE Fulci flick. All the same, the clip below features Cam Gigandet getting the full Clockwork Orange treatment courtesy of some dude who likes listening to music while he "tortures" peeps. Double brrr.
You can check out the EXCLUSIVE clip below, along with the flick's trailer and poster.
Enjoy!
THE SHADOW EFFECT synopsis:
Obsessed with gene regeneration, and fascinated by the phenomenon of the waking dream, Dr. Reese (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) explores the psyche of Gabriel Howarth (Cam Gigandet), a young man whose life is turned upside down when his violent dreams begin to blend with reality. When Gabriel's dreams mirror political assassinations, he must race against the clock to not only save himself and his wife Brinn (Britt Shaw), but stop an experimental government program. With time running out, and Gabriel's life on the line, only Dr. Reese holds the key to unlocking the truth.
THE SHADOW EFFECT is directed by Obin Olson and Amariah Olson, and written by Chad Law & Evan Law with George Abbott Clark and Tony Feole. The film stars Cam Gigandet, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Brit Shaw, and Michael Biehn.
THE SHADOW EFFECT hits On Demand, Digital HD, and DVD May 2nd.
